PEOPLE IN MOTION DANCERS are recognized as one of the premiere youth dance teams in the Midwest, numbering over 100 dancers ages 5 to 18 in 2013.  What makes this group so unique is Director Marcia Taylor’s philosophy of providing multiple, diverse, no cost performance opportunities for its members.  PIM DANCERS perform at area sporting events, parades, pageants, and, of course, THE DANCE STUDIO’S three studio-wide performances (Winter Performance, Spring Showcase and Summer Outdoor Dance Concert).  This group is available to all dance students by simply enrolling in a single class – People In Motion Dancers Technique/Performance Class – based on the student’s age, ability and experience.

PIM DANCERS are recognized locally, statewide, regionally and even nationally.  For the past several years the People In Motion Dancers have been headline performers at Red Barn Arts Festival and the Cultural Heritage Event in local communities; for the past seven years consecutively they have won the most first place and overall awards at the Worlds of Fun Festival of Dance that attracts dancers from several Midwestern states; and for the past two years they have been the only dance team invited to perform at the NAIA National Men’s Collegiate Basketball Tournament.
